Bella Cakes offers free wedding cake consultations and tastings for weddings with 50 or more guests at our home office!    Please contact me to book your appointment!! During your  consultation we will go through cake designs, sizes, and presentation details.  We encourage you to bring any pictures, sketches, color samples, or anything else you want included in your wedding cake design.  About the only limit is your imagination!!  At the consultation you will get to sample 2 standard cake flavors and 2 standard fillings of your choice.  If you would like to sample one of our premium flavors there is a charge of $10.00 per flavor combination (this includes a premium cake flavor and a premium filling flavor).  As a special treat Bella Cakes will provide you with cupcakes in each cake flavor filled with your choice of filling to sample and bring home with you!  Every wedding cake we make is customized and can require many hours of meticulous labor.  Because we are passionate about the quality of our work we only take a limited number of orders per week.  This assures our customers that their wedding cake has our complete time and attention.    To check for availability of your wedding date please contact me .  To reserve your date a $100.00 non-refundable deposit is required, this is applied to the cost of your wedding cake. As part of your wedding cake package Bella Cakes offers free local delivery with an on time delivery guarantee,  as well as a 6" cake for you to keep for your first anniversary, this typically is the top tier of your wedding cake. For wedding cakes iced in buttercream pricing starts at $3.00 per serving, with the final price determined by the design choosen. For wedding cakes covered in rolled fondant pricing starts at $4.00 per serving, again, with the final price determined by the design choosen. Frequently Asked Questions When should I book my cake? For wedding cakes as soon as you have the basic preliminary details finalized (number of guests, and when/where your event is going to be). Since we book a limited number of orders per weekend, popular months such as May through October book quickly, sometimes 8 months in advance.  What are your Hours of Operation? Bella Cakes is a fully licensed business.  All our cakes are created in a health inspected kitchen. What is the best way to reach you? Bring the picture with you to your consultation and we'll see what we can do. Be aware that if the design requires additional products (such as gum paste flowers) to be purchased or made, those become non-refundable once the supplies have been ordered. Some cakes can take several weeks worth of work to create!! When is the final date to make changes to the cake/design? You have until 30 days prior to the wedding to make changes to the cake design and or cake/filling flavors. Some design/flavor changes may require an additional cost which would be due at that time. What is a "Kitchen Cake"? A kitchen cake is basically a wedding cake that has the same number of layers and flavorings as the main wedding cake does, however it is kept in the kitchen where the caterer is able to cut it up while your guests are eating their dinner. This cake is not decorated to the same extent that the main wedding cake is, but is the exact same cake layers and flavors. Do you make cakes ahead of time and freeze them? We do not believe in freezing cakes, we try to provide our products the freshest they can be. We’re on a tight budget for our wedding, can you work with us? Yes! We have options available for most budgets. Will you do Cupcake towers or centerpeice cakes? Yes!  We will work with you to create a beautiful centerpiece(s) for your wedding reception.
